Knebworth House
Having been the home to the Lytton family since 1490, Knebworth House is full of history and charm. Knebworth is also a special place for music and film fans alike, so there is plenty to entertain everyone.
For those interested in history, Knebworth is a treasure chest of stories and intrigue. Along with the stunning setting of the house and grounds there is the tales of the famous friends of the Lytton family and their visitors to Knebworth house. The house contains exhibits of letters from its two most famous visitors, Winston Churchill and Charles Dickens who were both regular visitors and good friends of the Lytton family.
Those with a taste for all things musical will be aware of the history of Knebworth hosting some of the biggest concerts ever seen. Throughout the seventies and eighties, Knebworth hosted rock legends such as Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Paul McCartney and Pink Floyd.
